a type of vaporizer that produces a cool mist with very fine droplets. Since these droplets penetrate to the lungs, rather than just the sinuses, nebulizers can be used to treat kittens with pneumonia, either to deliver medicine to address the infection or simply to loosen the mucus and congestion in the lungs.
