FeLV
Feline leukemia virus. Transmitted between cats via saliva or feces, or to kittens in utero. Some cats are able to defeat the virus, while others progress through stages of infection culminating in invasion of the bone marrow and organs, followed by death. Kittens should be vaccinated for FeLV before being introduced into an environment with other cats.
